Asked before signing up.

These are the questions that actually arrive in our messages, answered the way we answer them there. Billing details have their own FAQ on the pricing page.

What does Echoia actually do?

Two things, in one tool. You schedule your posts across all your social accounts from a single composer, and you receive every comment and private message those accounts get in one inbox, so you answer from one place instead of six apps. Most tools do one half; the point of Echoia is that the publishing and the answering belong together.

Which platforms does it support?

Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and Google Business for publishing. What lands in the inbox depends on what each platform's official API exposes: the platform pages list, network by network, exactly what works and what the platform itself does not allow.

How much does it cost?

There is a free plan with three connected accounts and no card required, and paid plans from $39 a month. Plans differ by how many accounts you connect, never by how many people you invite: every plan, including the free one, comes with unlimited teammates. Posting is not metered either; there is no monthly post counter on any plan.

Is it safe to connect my accounts?

Echoia never asks for your password. You connect through each platform's own official login page (OAuth), the platform shows you exactly which permissions you are granting, and what Echoia receives is an access token limited to those permissions. Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and you can revoke Echoia's access at any moment from the platform's settings, which cuts it off instantly.

Can Echoia post something without my permission?

No. Echoia publishes what you or a teammate wrote and scheduled, at the time you chose, and nothing else. The AI writes drafts and suggests replies, but a suggestion is text sitting in a box until a human sends it. There is no autopilot mode, on purpose.

Where is my data stored, and what about GDPR?

Your data lives in the European Union. You can export everything Echoia holds about you from your settings (article 20), and delete your account yourself (article 17): deletion deactivates the account immediately and erases everything after a 30-day grace period, in case you change your mind. The privacy policy names every subprocessor we use and what each one sees.

Does the AI train on my posts and messages?

No. AI requests are sent with data retention and training explicitly disabled at the provider, processed for your request, and not used to train any model. The AI features are also optional: nothing in publishing or the inbox requires them.

How is Echoia different from Buffer or Hootsuite?

The affordable tools schedule posts and stop there, leaving comments and messages in the native apps. The tools that add an inbox are priced per seat for social media teams. Echoia does both halves at one flat price with unlimited seats. The comparison pages go feature by feature and say plainly what each competitor still does better.

Can my team work in it?

Yes. A workspace holds your connected accounts, and you invite teammates by email with a role: admin, member, or read-only viewer. Everyone works on the same calendar and the same inbox, and none of it costs extra, because seats are not billed.

Who is behind Echoia?

One person: Ilies Ziyad EL AYYADI, a sole trader registered in Paris, building it full time and funded by customers rather than investors. When you write to support, the person answering is the person who wrote the code. That is either reassuring or not, but at least you know exactly who holds your data.
