Evergreen content
Evergreen content stays relevant long after publication: how-tos, answers to permanent questions, reference material. The opposite of news, whose value decays in days.
On social, evergreen has a specific operational meaning: content you can republish or recycle on a schedule because nothing in it dates. Some tools are built entirely around this (queues that refill from category libraries), and it works best for advice-shaped niches.
The risk is staleness by repetition: audiences overlap day to day, and the third appearance of the same tip reads as automation. Recycling works better with variations (new hook, new format, updated example) than with literal reposts.
A useful discipline is an annual review pass: "evergreen" screenshots of interfaces, prices and statistics quietly rot, and an out-of-date how-to costs more trust than no post.
