Pinterest is the slowest platform to reward a post and the longest to keep rewarding it. A pin published in March still brings traffic in September, which makes it the odd one out in a feed-shaped tool.

- ·Read or reply to comments. Pinterest's API does not expose them.
- ·Show monthly views for a brand new account. Pinterest returns a placeholder until it has enough data, and we show nothing rather than a wrong number.
These are the platform's limits, not ours. Any tool telling you otherwise is either breaking their terms or estimating.

Publishing a pin needs a permission nobody documents
Creating a pin requires the boards:write scope, which is not mentioned on the endpoint's own documentation page. Every integration discovers it the same way: a 403 in production, on an account that authorised everything it was asked. We ask for it up front, and say so when it is missing.
